Cheltenham is well located as a stop-over point during a journey to and from the West Country or to Wales, from other parts of the UK or from Europe.

It is also a destination itself and is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside – the Cotswolds to the east and south and the Forest of Dean to the west. Oxford, Bristol and Birmingham are all about one hour’s drive away.

Cheltenham is well known for its excellent shopping and for a range of festivals. The Racecourse is situated about one and a half miles from Laurel House.

We are located about half a mile from the A40 London Road (Oxford to Cheltenham) on the corner of Hewlett Road and Eldon Road. There are good pubs, together with other restaurants, for an evening meal nearby.
